Greylock Card Activation Fraud Email

Alert: Fraud Email Circulating

August 11, 2008 – The below fraudulent email is currently circulating. If you receive this email or any email claiming to be from Greylock requiring you to call a telephone number or click on a link to activate a Greylock account, please delete the email. These emails are fraudulent.

Dear GREYLOCK F.C.U. customer,

We regret to inform you that we have received numerous fraudulent emails which ask for personal account information. The emails contained links to fraudulent pages that looked legit.

Please remember that we will never ask for personal account information via email or web pages.

Because of this we are launching a new security system to make GREYLOCK F.C.U. accounts more secure and safe. To take advatage of our new consumer Identity Theft Protection Program we had to deactivate access to your card account.

To activate it please call us immediately at TOLL-FREE (888) 255-XXXX

Activation is free of charge and will take place as soon as you finish the activation process.
